I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing the newest edition to the Belvin family. I am not a baby photographer but I could not pass up the opportunity to photograph this beautiful baby girl. Ron and Lyn Belvin have been great friends to me for several years so I consider it an honor to photograph their family. I also wanted to do the shoot because I gave me an excuse to go to their home for some dessert. Lyn is always baking great things like cakes, cookies, cupcakes and brownies. Be sure to check out her baking business at http://www.buttercremebliss.com/ . The photo session was a challenge. I was telling the baby how to pose but she wasn’t listening. At times she even starting screaming at me. It felt like I was dealing with a diva. Fortunately her mom and dad were around to keep her in check. I have a lot of respect for baby photographers because they have a unique set of challenges to deal with when photographing infants. I’ll definitely stick to photographing weddings. I really enjoyed doing the shoot despite the challenges. Here are a few photos from the session.

I am in tears, looking at these wonderful images of my beautiful new little niece. I so wish I could be there to hug and kiss her. The both of you are indeed Blessed, to have such wonderful daughters.
