I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Tori years ago at a family photo session and during the wedding of her parents at the Charlotte Museum of History. She has grown to become a beautiful and smart young lady. She is on the A/B honor roll and she recently won the Cam Newton School Spirit essay contest. She is well on her way to making an impact on the world. Here are a few images from the session.

A few weeks ago I photographed Courtney and Mike in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. We thought that we would be doing the session in nice weather but Spring has been slow to arrive this year. Despite the chilly temperatures we had a great session. It felt great to be shooting again after hibernating for the winter. I did not realize how much I missed photography. I really needed to feel the joy of photography this year. I also needed to see the joy that my clients receive when they view their photos. I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding at the Westin later this year. Here are a few photos from their session.

Tim Hines Photography Featured On The Cover of Premier Bride Charlotte

I was elated when Premier Bride magazine informed me that they would be using my photos for a multi page spread. At the time I did not know that they would also be using my photos for the front and back cover as well. I have never had one of my photos featured on the cover of a magazine so I was extremely excited about it. Hopefully it won’t be the last time. The magazine will be out soon at several locations around Charlotte such as Macy’s, Diamonds Direct and several other stores where brides shop. You can get a sneak peak at the magazine below. I’ll add photos of my 20 page spread in the magazine soon.

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Trevor and Kristen. We had a lot of fun despite the heat. I’ll be photographing their wedding later this year in Ohio and I can’t wait. Bridgett & Cyrus | Augusta, GA Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Bridgett and Cyrus in Augusta, Georgia. The ceremony was at the Gilbert – Lambuth Chapel on the campus of Paine College and the reception took place at the Augusta Country Club. Here are a few images from their wedding day and from their day after session.

These kids are too cute.

The groom took a few minutes to write a personal note to the bride. Whatever he wrote had her smiling.

One unique thing about this wedding was that the bride tied the groom’s bow tie before the ceremony. The tie was made of material from the brides dress.

Love is written all over their faces.

Natasha Curry from CNN Headline News emceed the reception. I watch her on HLN all the time. It was great to meet her.

Brakefield at Riverwalk Grand Opening | Charlotte Wedding Photographers

Last night I had the opportunity to attend the grand opening celebration of the Brakefield at Riverwalk. The Brakefield is the newest wedding venue in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The Brakefield was designed from the ground up for weddings. It has a beautiful bridal parlor, a grooms room and even a room for vendors. How great is that? The Brakefield has an awesome waterfront setting for outdoor ceremonies for those that enjoy the great outdoors. The venue is also great for parties and corporate events. The grand opening was coordinated by Ivy of The Silk Veil Events. She did an fantastic job as usual. There were several great vendors in attendance including Images of Power, April’s floral Expressions, Heaven Sent Catering, Royal Rides, Carolina Cake Artistry, Split Second Sound, Melanie Rowe Catering, Lily Greenthumb’s and many more. The Brakefield is having an open house on April 1st from 1-4 pm. If you are looking for a wedding venue you should drive down to Rock Hill, SC and check out the Brakefield at Riverwalk.
