Last Saturday I had the opportunity to speak to an audience of future brides at a seminar. The seminar was held by Amelia Talford of Last Minute Details Event Planning and Hampton Inn Suites at South Park. I contacted Amelia when I heard about the event and she invited me to speak to the brides about the importance of wedding photography. I was just expecting to drop off some of my brochures but Amelia allowed me to show some wedding slideshows, albums and other photo products. The brides had several great questions for me and the other vendors. I ended up learning a lot about cakes, catering and wedding planning by listening to the questions and answers. I also learned a lot by listening to the advice that Amelia gave the future brides. I’m sure that each one of them walked away with an abundance of knowledge (and a large stack of handouts) that they will use to plan their dream weddings.
